Karan Johar has never left a stone unturned to woo the international audiences with the grandeur of his star casts and the exotic locations of his films. If observed, his films have been exceptionally successfull in the U.K and the U.S. But this time even the Egyptian audience have been wooed by his recent film ‘My Name Is Khan’ and welcomed it with open arms

No doubt, Shahrukh has some extra ordinary charm which works well with the international audiences and continues to create magic even after two months after the release of his latest movie. The film which talks about the treatment given to the Muslims after the 9/11 terror attack has created some kind of nostalgia in Egypt which has led to the making of a record of one million pounds in the first four weeks of its release.

According to the popular Egyptian opinion it is an extra ordinary film which is almost like a huge favour on the Muslims as said by the Media Pandit Khalid Mutassir. It was a very brave attempt by KJO to have made such a movie on such a controversial topic.

Karan has tried to get this film as much global exposure as possible and has also taken it to the Cannes film festival. His dear friend SRK and lucky charm Kajol have sure proved to work some magic with this film. The next film to be screened in Egypt will be Kabir Khan’s New York which is co-incidentally on the same subject.

Even before the release of the most awaited film Rajneeti, the promos it self is getting our Bollywood beauty Katrina Kaif is a lot of attention.

Prakash Jha isn’t waiting for the release of the film to show his faith in his leading lady. He has already signed Katrina Kaif for his next movie. The latest buzz is that, Jha has cast Kaif alongside Amitabh Bachchan and Ajay Devgan in his next project called Aarakshan.

The movie is believed to address the issues surrounding job reservation in India and is set against an academic dropout.

Bachchan plays a teacher, who has apparently been inspired by his late father Harivansh Rai Bachchan. It has been suggested that Kaif will play Big B’s daughter and that Devgn will play his favourite student.

An item song in Prakash Jha’s films is a must. He believes item songs in his films does not halt the story of a film but moves the plot forward.

Television actress Barkha Bisht will be Raajneeti’s item girl. Barkha, who shares a long-distance marriage with her husband Indraneil Sengupta, shot for the song last week, she danced to a sizzling track Ishq Barse Hai Boondan Boondan choreographed by Bosco-Ceaser.

Barkha is really excited these days. Says Barkha,

“The item song in Raajneeti is my big-screen debut. I chose to start my film career with a dance because I’ve been on reality shows on television and have the confidence to carry it off. Also, this is a big film. And I will be noticed. Better an item in a big film than a lead in a film that no one will watch.”

Prakash chose Barkha since he decided to go with an absolutely fresh-faced girl who can dance. His daughter Disha made the final selection.

Sri Kanth Deva has scored music for this song and GK has erected a 20Lakhs worth set made completely out of empty bottles.
Nearly for a week, they had collected hundreds and thousands of empty bottles all over the city and finally erected this set in AVM Studios.
